Evans Gertie, age 73, of Elk River, died on August 27, 2002. Survived by loving children, Jeannie (Warren) Stanek, Alan Haugen, Joanie Haugen, Donnie (Sheryl) Evans, Warren Haugen, Michael (Carol) Haugen, Marilyn (Allan) Kuiper, Linda (Boyce) Cruse, and Judy (Keith) Glenn; 18 grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild; very special friend, Fred Stefanick; and daughter-in-law, Deborah Haugen. Also survived by loving sister, Florence Morris; and many nieces & nephews. Preceded in death by husbands, Elvert Haugen and Donald Evans. Funeral service 11 AM Friday at Elk River United Methodist Church (1304 Main Street). Visitation 4-8 PM Thursday at Dare's Funeral Home (805 Main Street, Elk River) and 1 hour prior to services at the church. Interment Orono Cemetery. Dare's Funeral Home 763-441-1212
