McKenzie Geraldine ''Gerry'', age 73, of St. Paul on August 30, 2002. Preceded in death by parents, Cecil and Irene Mack. Survived by loving husband of 49 years, John L.; children, John M., Maureen (Steven) Peterson, Joanne (Joe Reid) Pearman, Kathleen (John) Daniewicz, Daniel (Carolyn); grandchildren, Anne, Michael, Jenny, Mac, Kally, Alison, Connor, and Jamie. B.A. College of St. Catherine 1949, Phi Beta Kappa. 29 year employee of St. Paul Public Library, known to thousands of children as ''Freddy the Fox''. Mass of Christian Burial 10:30 AM Tuesday at St. Pascal Baylon Catholic Church, 3rd St. and White Bear Ave. with visitation from 9AM until time of Mass at church. Interment Union Cemetery.
