George W. Sandell Obituary

Sandell George W. Sandell, died in his sleep Sunday morning, March 17, at his home in Eden Prairie. He was 83 years old. His wife, Marge, sons, Scott and Steve and their families will remember his life at a Memorial Service Fri., March 22, 2:30 pm at St. Andrew Lutheran Church, 13600 Technology Drive, Eden Prairie (1 mile west of I-494 along State Hwy 5, Eden Prairie). George had a lot of stories to tell. He had been Captain of a PT boat and was awarded the Bronze Star in WWII. He was a YMCA secretary after the war and had a long career in advertising and marketing. He brought enthusiasm, energy and pride to his work as president of Eden Prairie Rotary Club, a member of Muskies, Inc. and as author and publisher of three books on fishing.
