George Scott Crawford Obituary

Crawford George Scott, age 81, of Mound, passed away Wednesday, February 12, 2003 in his home. He was born November 23, 1921 to John and Marie Crawford in Landsford, PA. He served his country with the Navy during WWII. He was a member of the American Legion, VFW, and also in the Masons. He was a railroad machinist for 41 years. George is survived by his wife of 45 years, Joan; son, Reggie; daughter, Linda Sano; grandson, Reginald Kelly Crawford; brothers, Fred (Janet), Jack (Dorothy); sister-in-law, Marge. He is preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Lance. A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, February 19, 2003 at 11 am at Huber Funeral Home, 1801 Commerce Blvd., Mound, with Fr. Stan Mader officiating. A gathering of family and friends will take place one hour prior to service. Burial will take place at Ft. Snelling Nat'l Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred.
