George Hayden Womelsdorf Obituary

Womelsdorf George Hayden 'Heintz', age 82 of St. Paul and Rio Verde, AZ, passed away peacefully Saturday, May 18, after a courageous battle with diabetes and heart disease. He was born in 1919 in Reading, PA, and spent 35 years in the insurance industry in St. Paul, working for Sexton and Alexander & Alexander insurance companies. Survived and much missed by his loving family including his wife, Catherine of Rosewood Estates in Maplewood; his son, Allan (Donna) of Mays Landing, NJ; daughter, Peg (Jim) Jensen of Bozeman, MT; step-children, Kit Artig of San Francisco, Jamer (Jeanne) Artig of Circle Pines, Rory (Mary) Artig of Maplewood, Gretchen (Dale) Artig-Swomley of Gem Lake, and Chris Artig of Salt Lake City. Also survived by four grandchildren, Samantha, Taylor, Benson, Nicholas, and six step-grandchildren, James, John, Joanna, Abby, Jeanna and Rachel Artig. Visitation will be at 2 pm, May 28 at Willwersheid & Peters Funeral Mortuary, 1167 Grand Ave. in St. Paul, with the service at 4 pm. 651-228-1006
