George B. Martin Obituary

Martin George B. Martin, Jr., MD. Resident of Becketwood, age 78, died June 1. Preceded in death by first wife, Patricia Martin and daughter, Cheryl Martin. Survived by wife, Peg Hanson; daughter, Jodi Martin (David Stewart); son, George B. Martin III (Katie Susens); grandson, Benjamin Martin; sister, Helen Felton (Sam); Peg's family: daughter, Peggy Campbell (Rod); grandson, Christopher Peterson (Sarah) and Sophie; granddaughter, Laura Campbell; and loving friends. George practiced medicine in Thief River Falls for 32 years. Past President of the Minnesota Medical Association. Past President of Medical Board of Examiners. George had a good life and made a difference in the lives of many people and the organizations he served. A celebration of his life will be held at 1 pm Saturday, June 7 at Becketwood, 4300 W. River Pkwy, Mpls. Memorials preferred to MPR, Allina Hospice Foundation, or donor's choice. Cremation Society of MN Mpls 612-825-2435
