George Llewellyn Obituary

Llewellyn George, 81, of Brooklyn Center, died on Thursday, June 27, 2002 in his daughter's home after a courageous battle with cancer. He was born on June 27, 1921 in St. Paul, MN to Ray and Edna (Stark) Llewellyn. He was married for many years to Eleanor Amelia Peterson. George was in the US Navy for 21 years, he worked at the Naval Air Station and the VA Hospital, he was also a member of the Elks Lodge, VFW and the Fleet Reserve. He is survived by his daughter, Pamela (James) O'Bert of Algonquin, IL; granddaughters, Amy and Tessa O'Bert of Algonquin, IL; sisters, Faye Duncan of GA, Alice Swanson of MN; many nieces and nephews. The family would like to especially thank Scott, Lisa, Matt, Willie and Joey for their love and support. George was preceded in death by his parents; his wife in March of 1994; a son, Jeff, and a brother, Kewp Llewellyn. Visitation Monday, July 1, 2002 from 4-8 pm at Washburn-McReavy Swanson Chapel, Lowry & Irving Aves N., Mpls. Service Tuesday, July 2, 2002 at 10:30 am at the chapel. Interment will follow at Ft.
