Axell Gary Allen, age 57 of Brooklyn Park. Loving husband and father, passed away on Feb. 24, 2003. Preceded in death by beloved mother, Edna Axell; father, Arthur Axell; and sister, Carol Spievak. Survived by cherished wife of 33 years, Linda; son, Brian; daughter, Amy; brother, Arlin Axell; sister, Jeanne Sholl; 5 nieces; 4 nephews; mother-in-law, Margaret Nelson; sister-in-law, Carla Nelson; and brother-in-law, Jeffrey Nelson. Gary left this life surrounded by devoted family, which he always placed foremost during his rich life. Son and daughter are particularly grateful for all his love, guidance, and advice. A meticulous keeper of his yard, Gary enjoyed fishing and was an avid Vikings fan. You will never be far from our hearts. Special thank you to the Unity physicians and hospital staff of 1 West, ICU, and 2 West for all their respectful and caring treatment with Gary and support to his family. Memorial service 11 AM Thursday, Washburn-McReavy Northeast Chapel, 29th & Johnson St NE, Mpls. Private interment. Visitation 5-7 PM TONIGHT at the chapel.
