Geurs Francis M. Geurs, age 82, of Maple Grove/Corcoran. 1939 graduate of Cretin High School. Retired dairy farmer. Francis was a lifelong member of St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church and the Men's Club. He was a member of the 4th Degree Knights of Columbus and the Corcoran Lions. He received the Melvin Jones Lions award and was a WCCO Good Neighbor. Preceded in death by wife, Mary. Survived by children, Mary Ann & Steve Gmach, Patti & Dick Rupert, Katie & Peter Leuer, David Geurs; grandchildren, Chris Gmach, Sara Mausser, Milissa Mann, Scott and Beth Rupert, Sue Newman, Bob, Jenny and Patrick Leuer; great-grandson, Gordon Rupert. Mass of Christian Burial Friday, 11 am at the Church of St. Thomas the Apostle Church, 20000 County Road 10, Corcoran. Visitation Thursday, 4-8 PM at Gearty-Delmore Chapel of Plymouth, 37th & Vicksburg Lane and 1 hour prior to Mass at church. Interment St. Thomas Cemetery. Memorials preferred to St. Thomas Church.
