May, Francis Peter (Pete) age 78, of Oro Valley, AZ (formerly of Lakeville, MN) passed away at his home on November 14, 2017. Born February 7, 1939 in Washington, DC to the late Louise Moore and Frank May, Pete grew up in the DC area. After graduating from Wheeling Jesuit College WV, he served In the USMC from 1961-1964. Pete worked as an accountant for Kimberly Clark in California and Wisconsin. After retirement to Lakeville MN, volunteering became a second career with his favorites being Little Sisters of the Poor and St. Leonards. Pete is predeceased by his second wife, Sally Goetzmann May, and in 2016 by his daughter Pamela May. He Is survived by his sister, Lou Samuels, Lancaster TX; his wife Addie; his first wife Pat May and their sons Peter May and Parker May (Jeanne); his second wife's 4 children Mary Goetzmann Mason (Tom), Mike Goetzmann (Rachel), Jean Goetzmann Hofmann (Kennedy), Mark Goetzmann (Shelli) and 9 grandchildren; and Addie's daughter Mimi Halleck (Rob Strauss) and step-children Cynthia Lawrence and Craig Stenzel and 2 grandchildren. Mass of Christian Burial Wednesday November 29 at 11:00 A.M. at St. Leonard of Port Maurice Catholic Church, 3949 Clinton Avenue South, Minneapolis. Visitation at church one hour prior to the service. Private interment at Resurrection Cemetery in Mendota Heights. Memorials preferred in lieu of flowers.
