Frances S. Odmark Obituary

Odmark Frances S., 89, of Edina passed away Dec. 19, 2002 at Grandview Christian Home, Cambridge. Born July 25, 1913 on family farm east of Cambridge to Oscar and Helga Odmark. She left Cambridge to work in Minneapolis as a housekeeper. She was active in the Priscilla club. In 1946 she went to work for Sears, retiring in 1976. She was an active member of Bethlehem Baptist Chruch for over 50 years and served as treasurer of the Helping Hand Committee for 35 years. She was also an active volunteer with the American Swedish Institute. She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Earl and Vern; and sister, Pearl. She is survived by brother, Carl (Mae) Odmark of Grand Marais; sisters-in-law, Clarice Odmark of Cambridge, Toni Odmark of San Diego, CA; ten nieces and nephews. She was laid to rest Dec. 21 at North Isanti Baptist Cemetery. Memorial service will be 11 AM, Sat. Dec. 28 at Bethlehem Baptist Church, 720 13th Ave S., Minneapolis.
