Briggs Frances I., 78, passed away Sunday, March 24, 2002. She is survived by her husband of 58 years, Joseph E. Briggs of Mercedes, TX; 2 sons, Patrick (Monica) Briggs of White Bear Lake; James (Barbara) Briggs of Shoreview; 2 daughters, Mary Birggs of Mill Valley, CA, Nancy Briggs of Mpls.; 1 brother, Dennis Lager of Columbus, OH; 2 sisters, Lorraine Napier of Sun City Center, FL, Bernice Bunday of St. Paul; also surviving are 2 grandchildren, Will Briggs Barnett & Sara Briggs. Memorial Services were 2 pm Wed. at Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Church in Mercedes, TX. Interment will follow at a later date. Arrangements have been entrusted to Garcia & Trevino Funeral Home of Mercedes, TX.
