Mycue Fr. Gordon E Mycue, entered Eternal Rest on Feb. 14, 2003. He was born in Woodville, MN Oct. 20, 1922 of Ida Klaesus and Earl Mycue. He was an only child, preceded in death by his parents. Fr. Gordon was a priest 53 years. He was a professional musician and ham radio operator. He served many parishes throughout Mpls-St. Paul. He served longest (23 years) as pastor of St. Thomas the Apostle Church, Corcoran, MN. He began a preschool for St. Thomas Church in 1970 which continues to thrive. He was chaplain at Methodist and Fairview Hospitals. He was pastor at St. Mary's Church in Delano. He was director of Radio and Television for the Archdiocese for 22 years. Fr. Mycue was the Co-Founder of St. Therese Care Center in New Hope. Fr. Gordon was a prayerful priest and compassionate friend. He will be missed by all. He is survived by his cousins. Mass of Christian Burial 10:30 AM Friday at the Church of St. Timothy, Maple Lake. Visitation Thursday 5-8 PM and Friday 9-10:30 AM, both at The Church of St. Timothy.
