Florence A. Shogren, age 86, of Coon Rapids. In the arms of angels, Florence was taken home on November 24, 2002. Employed as a nurse at Mercy Hospital and retired after 21 years of service, prior to that, she worked for St. Luke's and Our Lady of Mercy Hospitals in Alexandria, MN. Preceded in death by parents, Chris and Geneva (Robinson) Way; husband, Raymond; grandson, William Carl Tonn II; 3 brothers, 1 sister. Loving mother who will be deeply missed by children, Geneva Rae (Eugene) Tonn, Allan (Linda) Shogren, Barbara (James) Zvorak; grandchildren, Susan (Tim) Reams, Todd (Tammy) Zvorak, David (Melissa) Shogren, Terri Mullen, Steven (Tanya) Shogren; 13 great-grandchildren; brother, Ira (Mable) Way; many loving relatives and friends. Funeral service 3 pm Saturday at Zion Lutheran Church, 1601 4th Ave S., Anoka (763-421-4656), with visitation one hour prior at church. Private family interment, Kinkead Cemetery, Alexandria, MN.
