Murtha Services for Fern L. Murtha, 89, of Fairmont, MN were held on Mon., Dec. 17, 2001 at St. John Vianney Catholic Church in Fairmont. Burial followed at Calvary Cemetery in Fairmont. Fern died Thurs., Dec. 13, 2001 at the Fairmont Medical Center-Mayo Health System. She is survived by daughter, Colette Kearney and her husband, Don, of Kearney, NE; son, Michael Murtha and his wife, Brenda, of St. Louis Park, MN; 4 grandchildren, Michelle and Ronald Murtha, Patrick Kearney and his wife, Cathy and Sean Kearney and his wife, Alissa; 4 great-grandchildren, Brogan, Breanna, Noah and Madilyn; other relatives and many friends. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, John Murtha; brothers, Ray and Harold Prentice and sister, Earline Sharp.
