Keith Everett J., Sr., age 74, of Lake of the Pines, CA, formerly of Bloomington, MN, passed away peacefully on July 6, 2002. Preceded in death by wife, Carol. Survived by devoted companion, ''Billie'' Schwalb; daughter, Ginny (Daniel) LaBas of Valbonne, France; son, Everett John Jr. of Shakopee, MN; grandchildren, Nico, Tony and Alex Ciompi, Tara and Kyle Keith; sister, Harriet (Chub) Schlichting; brother, Richard (Poppy); favorite nephew, Bill (Linda) Schlichting; niece, Susan (Kent) Kim and many friends. Everett was born and raised in Algona, IA. He served in the Navy and moved to Mpls with wife Carol in 1950. As a graduate of Dunwoody Institute, ''Ev'' enjoyed over 36 years of success as a building contractor in the metro area. He served 20 years on the Bloomington Volunteer Fire Dept. and gave unselfishly to many organizations. Everett's genuine personality, sense of humor and compassion for others will be greatly missed by all who knew & loved him. Memorial service will be held at Sierra Pines United Methodist Church, Grass Valley, CA
