Gedatus Eunice A., age 76, of Champlin, formerly of Brainerd. Loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend, died peacefully in her sleep at home while surrounded by family on Dec. 19 after a heroic battle with Cancer/LEMS. Preceding her in death were her parents, Joseph & Palma Nelson; brothers, Joe, Harold, Nester & Donald. Survived by husband of 55 years, Donald; children, Terry (Denny), Diane (Curt), Donnie (Sue), Susan (Dave) and Bonnie (Tim); 14 wonderful grandchildren; and 14 equally as wonderful great-grandchildren; sisters, Phyllis (Bill) Spittler and Donna McCurdy; brothers, Stanley & Warren (Audrey); many other special family and friends. She will always be remembered for her special way of touching all that knew her. God placed an ad for best angel around and she answered. You're at peace now our ''shining star''. We will miss you! Visitation Friday from 4-8 PM at the Evans-Nordby Funeral Home, 34 2nd St NE, Osseo. Visitation also at church one hour prior to funeral. Funeral service Saturday 1:30 PM at Prince of Peace Lutheran Church, 7217 West Broadway, Brooklyn Park. If so desired, memorials may be given to the Eunice A. Gedatus Memorial Fund.
