Leske Eugene "Gene" Leske, age 88, of Minnetonka, died July 12, 2005. Preceded in death by parents; his wife of 54 years, Irene; 2 brothers and 3 sisters. Survived by son, Alan (Jeanne) of WY; grandson, Cavin of WI; brothers, Walt of Minnetonka and Milton of FL; nieces and nephews. Gene served with the Army Air Force during WWII in the US and England. He enjoyed golf and playing cards. Gene was a gentle man with a good word for all, he will be sorely missed. In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to the American Cancer Society, Hopkins VFW Post #425 or donor's choice. Private interment Glen Haven Cemetery. Memorial service 10:00 AM Friday, July 22, 2005 with visitation one hour prior at: Washburn-McReavy Strobeck Johnson Chapel 1400 Mainstreet, Hopkins 952-938-9020
