Fleischer Eugene "Gene", age 72, of Elk River, died April 15, 2003 of complications from Alzheimer's disease. Preceded in death by his parents, Samuel & Louise. Survived by his loving wife of 44 years, Marjory; brother, Samuel (Trudi) of Alva, FL, and two nephews. Also survived by in-laws, Jean Erpelding of Elk River, Loren Erpelding of Sitka, AK, and Carol (James) Ekman of Fairfield Bay, AR, and many other relatives and friends. Funeral service 11 AM Monday, April 21, 2003 at Dare's Funeral Home, 805 Main St., Elk River, 763-441- 1212. Visitation 5-7 PM Sunday at the funeral home and 1 hour prior to service on Monday. Interment private. Memorials preferred in lieu of flowers to Alzheimer's Assoc., Crystal Care Center's Memory Care Unit, or donor's choice.
