Block Ethel M., age 82, of Montrose and formerly of Rockford. Survived by sons, Ronald (Arlis) Block of Buffalo, Wayne (Sandra) Block of Maple Lake, David (Bonnie) Block of Buffalo and Michael Block of Albuquerque, New Mexico; 6 grandchildren, Wanda (Nick) Kath & Douglas (Jodi) Block, Brandt Block, April, Daniel & Kelly Block; 7 great-grandchildren; a sister, Lydia Wandersee of Delano; a brother-in-law; 3 sisters-in-law; many nieces, nephews and friends. Preceded in death by her husband, Arnold E. Block on February 10, 1998; parents, Rudolph & Johanna Topel; 6 sisters and 6 brothers. Funeral service 11:00 AM Thursday, Cross Evangelical Lutheran Church in Rockford. Friends may call at the funeral home on Wednesday 4-9 PM. Prayer service 7:00 PM.
