Dickhausen- Solarz Esther Vos Dickhausen-Solarz. March 8, 1932-September 30, 2002, age 70, Pine River, MN died at Bethany Care Center in Brainerd, MN on September 30, 2002 of cancer. Mass of Christian Burial will be Thursday at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Holdingford at 11:00 AM. Friends may call at the Williams Funeral Home, St. Cloud, on Wednesday from 4-8 PM and also after 10:00 AM Thursday at church. Esther was born to Leonore and Arthur Vos at Holdingford, MN on March 8, 1932. She was married to Alfred Bud Dickhausen on September 5, 1953, until his death in 1976. She met and married Robert Bob Solarz on August 25, 1984. They made their home in Pine River, MN and Tucson, AZ. In addition to her husband, Robert, Esther is survived by daughters, Elaine (Steve) Klanderud and Gayle (Greg) Lienemann, Lake City, FL; sons, Mark (Laura) Dickhausen, Missoula, MT and Douglas (Suellen) Dickhausen, Anoka; step-daughters, Dianne (Chuck) Ferley, Ramsey, and Lynnae (Don) Sniker, Brooklyn Center; step-sons, Craig (Wanda) Solarz, Brooklyn Center, and Gary (Denise) Solarz, Plymouth: eight grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and nine step-grandchildren; brothers, Virgil (Betty) Vos, El Camino Village, CA, Harold (Joanne) Vos, Dane, WI, Jerry Vos, Hinckley, Rev. William Vos, Mora, Frederick Vos, Duluth; sisters, Joan (Donald) Smith, Lake City, and Mary (Gerald) Drewes, Coleraine.
