Thor Erland, age 84, formerly of NE Mpls, passed away Dec. 2, 2002. Preceded in death by wife, Marjorie; parents, Charles & Elizabeth Thor. Survived by son, Erland (Joyce) Thor; stepson, Michael (Kathy) Ryan; grandchildren, Kristine, Steven, Michelle, Robert and Darrin; 10 great-grandchildren, other relatives and many friends. Special thanks to the staff of New Brighton Care Center for their care of ''Whitey'' these last few days. Funeral service 11 am Thursday, Dec. 5 at the Miller Funeral Home, 6210 NE Hwy 65, Fridley. Visitation 6-9 pm Wednesday evening and one hour prior to service Thursday in funeral chapel. Interment Hillside Cemetery, Mpls. Memorials preferred. Miller Funeral Home Fridley Chapel 763-571-1300
