Ward Emmie Jean was called home to rest June 9, 2003. Born Sept. 24, 1916 in Hickory, MS. Mrs. Ward is preceded in death by husband, James Ward; brothers, Henry and Woodrow; grandson, James Calvin Emmanuel Smith. She leaves behind to cherish her memory, daughter, Debra Kay Abron (Derek) of Warner Robins, GA; sister, Millie Caldwell of MS; grandson, MacArthur Smith Jr. of San Antonio, TX; 2 great-grandchildren; many nieces, nephews and friends. Memorial Service Monday, June 16, 12 Noon at St. Peter's A.M.E. Church, 401 E. 41st St., Mpls. Cremation Society of MN 612-825-2435
