Emma L. Halverson Obituary

Halverson Emma L. Praying mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, age 92, joyfully entered the presence of the Lord on November 28, 2002. Preceded in death by her husband, Stanford; infant son, Gerald; grandson, Thomas; sisters, Margaret Ahrens and Minnie Mjelve; infant brother and infant sister. Survived by sons, Fred (Connie), Ron (Joyce) and Rick; brothers, John (Helena) Anderson of Clear Lake, IA, and Perry (Viola) Anderson of Geddes, SD; 9 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren. Emma leaves a legacy of prayer and commitment to Jesus Christ her Savior. A celebration of her life will be held Saturday (TODAY) 7:00 PM at NORTH HEIGHTS LUTHERAN CHURCH CHAPEL, 1700 W. Hwy 96, Arden Hills. There will be visitation 1 hour before the service at the church. Interment Platte, SD. Memorials are preferred to Samaritans Purse.
