Hokkanen, Elma E. age 87, of Summerwood in Plymouth and formerly of Minneapolis and Edina, passed away Sept. 1. She was preceded in death by parents, Oscar & Sarah; brothers, Rayno, Walter, & Elmer; and sisters, Anna & Mayme. She is survived by brother, Howard (Adeline); special friend, Marjorie Skarp; 18 nieces & nephews; many grand and great nieces & nephews; as well as other family & friends. Elma was a 33 year Honeywell employee. Funeral service 11 AM Tuesday, Sept. 7, at the Apostolic Lutheran Church of Blaine, 9401 Bataan St NE, Blaine, MN, with visitation after 9:30 AM. Interment Riverside Cemetery, French Lake, MN. If so desired, memorials may be given to Alzheimer's Assn. (MN-ND) or the church. Evans-Nordby 763-533-3000
