Busse Elizabeth "Beth" (nee Muelken), age 61, died Feb. 15 at her home in Prior Lake after a courageous 2 year battle with ALS (Lou Gehrig's Disease). Born June 17, 1941. Survived by loving husband of 40 years, Dick; children, Chris (Sara), Tim (Heather), Ted (Deb), Joy (Chuck), and Cory (Heidi); grandchildren, Nolan, Elise, Grace, Jill, and Troy; siblings, Ed (Marna), Bill (Joan), Bob (Pat), and Mary; brother-in-law, John (Babe) and sister-in-law, Jean; many nieces & nephews; and her ever loving Ya-Ya sisters. Preceded in death by parents, Clare & Edward Muelken; sister, Dorothy and brothers, Don and Tommy. Beth lived in Prior Lake her entire life. A woman of deep faith, she had a strong connection to the Blessed Virgin Mother and spent her life in Mary's service, and her days quietly uplifting the spirits of everyone who knew her. Beth's death leaves an unfillable hole in our lives but we remain forever blessed by her love, wisdom, laughter, and courage. She will always be our Valentine. A Mass of Christian Burial Tuesday, Feb. 18 at 11 a.m. at St. Michael's Catholic Church (16311 Duluth Ave SE, Prior Lake) with visitation on Monday from 4-8 p.m. at CHURCH and 1 hour prior to Mass at Church.
