Lottie (Running) Eleanor Ruth ''Ruthie'' Lottie, age 76, of Minneapolis, on October 13, 2002, after a long illness. Preceded in death by parents, Charles & Elfreda Livingston; first husband, Alf Running; brothers, Robert and Ray (Lorraine) Livingston; brother-in-law, Halvor ''Hub'' Kindem; and niece, Dinah Livingston. Survived by loving husband of 23 years, Raymond C. Lottie; sister, Carol Kindem; stepsons, Ray (Linda), Rick (Vickie) and Bob (Elfi) Lottie; nephews and nieces, Winston (Jean) Kindem, Lynn (Steve) Metzler, Joan Kindem, Margit Livingston, Sarah Livingston, Ira Livingston, Rolf (Judy) Running, Kirsten Akse, Eric Running; and many great nephews and nieces; and four step grandchildren. Honors graduate of Northfield High School Class of '44. Longtime City of Minneapolis employee in the offices of Civil Defense and City Coordinator. Will be sadly missed by family and friends alike. Special thanks to North Memorial Hospital and Hospice staff who provided care and comfort to Ruthie and her family during this difficult time. Visitation Tuesday (TODAY) 5-7 PM at Washburn-McReavy Swanson Chapel, Lowry & Irving Ave N., Mpls., and 1 hour before service.
