Thornton Elaine E., of Saint Paul. Beloved mother and grandmother, age 70, died January 25, 2003. An inspirational woman to all who knew her. Preceded in death by husband, Martin J. "Joe" Thornton. Survived by 3 children, Dave (Patty), Liz Anne (Bill) Pick, and Joe (Diane); 10 grandchildren, Christina, Madeleine, Ryan, Maryangela, John, Jane, Anne, Thomas, Elena, and Connor; 2 brothers, Bill (Lois) Donovan and Joseph (Carole) Donovan. Visitation 4-8PM Tuesday (TODAY) at WILLWERSCHEID WEST-HEIGHTS CHAPEL, 235 Wentworth Ave. W., West St. Paul, 651-457-7938 and at church 1 hour before the Mass. Mass of Christian Burial 11 AM Wednesday at MARY, MOTHER OF THE CHURCH, 3333 Cliff Road, Burnsville. Burial at Resurrection Cemetery. Memorials preferred.
