Survived by children, David (Beverly), Michael, and Katharina (Robert) Jacoby; 8 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. Graduate of the University of Illinois with a B.S. in Electrical Engineering. Served in the U.S. Army-Air Force during WWII as Temporary British Commanding General, 101st Allied Airborne, England. Member of Society of Professional Engineers, United States Senatorial & Congressional Business Advisory Boards and Chairman of the Board of Bergstrom-Verbarg Company, Mpls. Memorials preferred to Sharing & Caring Hands (Mary's Shelter). Private entombment Lakewood Mausoleum.
