Kahle Edna Mae Kahle, 81 years young, of Plymouth, died June 11, 2003 at North Memorial Residential Hospice surrounded by her loving family. Edna Mae was a devoted mother, grandmother and friend. Her life was characterized by her grace, her unfailing optimism, and good humor. Preceded in death by husband, Lloyd; son, Scott John; grandson, William Robert; brother, Walter Nielsen; sisters, Lil Abrahamson & Dora Nielsen. Survived by son, William Kahle; daughter & son-in-law, Kris & Robert Torgrimson; grandchildren, Maija & Adam Kahle, Peter, Jens, Jamie & Nels Torgrimson; brothers, Peter Nielsen, Bud (Dorothy) Nielsen, Larry (Carol) Nielsen; sisters, RoseMarie Stark, Betty (Alfred) Kankelfitz, Peggy (Gerald) Wellik, Beverly (Seth) Twichell; many wonderful nieces, nephews, great-nieces & great-nephews. Edna Mae thoroughly enjoyed her 40+ years working with her friends at the Luther organization. Funeral Monday 11 AM at Calvary Lutheran Church, 7520 Golden Valley Road. Interment 3 PM, Salem Lutheran Cemetery, North Branch, MN. Visitation Sunday 4-7 PM at Gearty-Delmore Robbinsdale Chapel, 39th & West Broadway, and at church 1 hour before the service.
