Bennett Duane M., age 77, of Anoka. Veteran of WWII serving in the USMC. Survivor of Iwo Jima. Member Teamsters Local 471. Driver for CloverLeaf Creamery (Kemps) for 36 years. Preceded in death by son, Philip Bennett, parents, James & Adelaide Bennett. Survived by wife, Josephine; sons, David Bennett, Mel (Penny) Bennett, Daniel (Julie) Bennett, Mark Bennett, Bruce (Nina) Bennett; daughters, Kathleen (Darrel) Olson, Susanne (David) Herron, Laura (Chris) Bennett-Drayer, Yvonne Goldberg & her son, Duane, Rose (David) Hutchinson, Jean (Joseph) Bennett; many grandchildren & great-grandchildren; sister, Velva Ross numerous nieces & nephews. Mass of Christian Burial Friday 10:30 am at St. Stephen's Catholic Church, 5th & Jackson St., Anoka. Interment Calvary Cemetery, Anoka. Visitation 5-8 pm Thursday at Thurston-Lindberg Funeral Home, West Main St. & Branch Ave., Anoka. Vigil prayers 7pm Thursday at the funeral home. Memorials pref. Thurston-Lindberg 763-421-0220
