Dodds Duane A. "Bubs", age 74, of Grand Rapids, MN, died Friday, March 7, 2003, at the Grand Itasca Clinic and Hospital. He was born December 17, 1928 in Minneapolis and later moved to Mound, MN, where he grew up and graduated from Mound High School. In 1948, he was married to Irene Skaret. He worked as a plumber for Hoglund Mechanical Contracting in St. Louis Park, MN for 30 years. In 1981 Duane moved to Big Jessie Lake, where he lived for 10 years. In 1991, he moved to Grand Rapids. Survived by his wife, Irene; daughter, Lorrie (Steve) Antiel of Grand Rapids; sons, Kirk (Deborah) Dodds of Mound, and Timothy (Julie) Dodds of Apple Valley; brother, Gerald (Nancy) Dodds of Mound; 4 grandsons, Joseph, Eric (Betsy), Matthew, and Andrew Dodds; 2 granddaughters, Carrie and Crystal Antiel. Funeral service 11 AM Tuesday, March 11 at St. Andrew's Lutheran Church, Grand Rapids, with Rev. George B. Gilbertson officiating.
