Wood Douglas Evan, 48, of Maple Grove, MN, died Friday, June 21, 2002 at the Methodist Hospital in St. Louis Park, MN after a brief illness from cancer. Services will be at St. James Methodist Church in Sioux City, IA at 2 pm Wed., June 26. Visitation will be 4-8 pm Tues. evening at the Christy-Smith Morningside Funeral Home, Sioux City, IA. Survivors include his mother; two brothers, Paul C. Wood of Sioux City, IA and Brian & his wife Patricia of Los Gatos, CA and nephews, Anthony & David Sacco of Folsom, CA; in addition to several aunts, uncles & cousins. He was preceded in death by his father in 1994. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to St. James Methodist Church or the American Cancer Society. A separate memorial service will be held in the Twin Cities at a later date.
