Douglas Derwood Byington, of Albertville, age 78, went home to be with his wife and our Lord on 5/1/2002. Survived by children, Gary (Bridget) Byington of Delano, Craig D. (Barbara) Byington of Mound, Jeffrey L. (Rebecca) Byington of Buffalo, Mark E. (Jacqueline) Byington of Plymouth and Susan J. Hitchings of Long Lake; 10 grandchildren, Cara, Matthew, Jonathon & Laura; Jason (Darcy) & Jennifer; Kristin & Andrew; Eric and Travis; a great-grandchild, Sarah; a sister, Vera Perleberg of Fridley; a brother-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He will be missed by all! Douglas was preceded in death by his loving wife, Donna Jean Byington; his parents; a grandson, Bemjamin Lee Byington; an infant brother; sisters, Maxine Riemann, Marguerite Evenson & Valna Larson; parents-in-law, Edward & Ann Matter; a sister-in-law & brother-in-law, Marjorie and Leonard Lund.
