Dorvald E. ''Dorv'' Brodeen. Born Feb. 13, 1925, passed away Jan. 16, 2002. Survived by his wife of 46 years, Shirley; sons, Terry (Diane), Drew (Jane) Douglas; daughters, Dawn (Keith), Kim (Craig); grandchildren, Brittany, Scott, Zachary, Frank, Hannah, Maggie, Eric and Joshua. Dorvald was a veteran of the U.S. Army and served in Japan. Dorvald was much loved by all. He enjoyed ''tinkering'' with cars and working in his garage. Memorial service Tuesday, 1/22/02 at 2 pm, Cremation Society of MN, Brooklyn Park Chapel, 7835 Brooklyn Blvd (763-560-3100). Private interment, Ft. Snelling National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations preferred to the Alzheimer's Assoc., 4550 W. 77th St., Suite 200, Edina, MN 55435.
