Blue (Barnes) Doris Martha, age 90, formerly of Anoka and Forest Lake, died March 3rd, 2003 in Covington, GA. Born on Christmas eve, 1912, in Brown County, Indiana. Preceded in death by husband, Delbert "Sam"; son, Delbert Jr. "Bud"; grandson, John Blue; and brothers, James and Thurmond. She will be deeply missed by her family: daughter, Bonnie (Sheldon) Butler, Covington, GA; son, Gary (Diane), LaPorte, MN; daughter-in-law, Virginia, Ramsey, MN; sisters, Angie Parish, Poulsbo, WA, and Ruth McAlister, Conway, AR; and sister-in-law, Doris Barnes, Mora, MN. She was a very special lady, loved by her grandchildren, Charles (Mary) Blue, Ramsey, MN, Donald (Debra) Blue, Champlin, MN, Lisa (Kareem) A-Hameed, Anoka, MN, Trisha (Mike) Furstenberg, Anoka, MN, Tammie (Chris) Bailey, Covington, GA, and Cole Blue, LaPorte, MN; as well as her 7 great-grand-children. A gathering in remembrance will be held at Greenhaven Country Club in Anoka on Sunday, May 18th, 2003, from 1-4 PM.
