Hillis Dorathea W. Hillis, age 94, of Excelsior, MN. Passed away September 6, 2002. Preceded in death by husband, Tom and six brothers. A 55 year resident of Excelsior, Dorathea owned Dorothy's Dress Shop and worked at Nygrenes for many years. She was an avid dancer, antique collector, traveler and grandmother. She loved her family. She will be missed by her son, Jim and wife Joan; grandchildren Cheryl (Jack), Jeff (Janet), Andrea (Shawn) and John (Lonnie); 4 great-grandchildren, Nicholas, Andrew, Emma and Chloe. Also, survived by, brother, John (Cathy) Drury, special friend Walter Johnson and former husband George Seirup. Also, 2 sisters-in-law as well as 40 nieces and nephews and many good friends. Memorial service Thursday, September 12, 2002, at 2PM at the Congregational Church of Excelsior, 471 3rd Street, Excelsior (952-474-5919). Visitation 1 hour prior to the service on Thursday.
