Johnson nee Dietz Diane Julia, age 62, of Bloomington. Heaven received another angel when on Dec. 19, 2002, Diane Julia Dietz Johnson died peacefully at her home and went to be with our Lord after a short illness. Diane was born on April 8, 1940 to Denver and Esther (Johnson) Dietz in Rock Rapids, IA. She married Gayle R. Johnson on Feb. 12, 1961. Preceded in death by her newborn son, Jeffrey and parents. Survived by husband, Gayle; daughters and their husbands, Michelle (Rod) Moats and Pam (Jim) Spencer; 5 grandchildren, Jena, Aaron, Kayla, Kristine and Alex. She is also survived by her brother, David (Flo) Dietz and sister, Judy West; many dear nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Service Monday, 11 AM at Hillcrest United Methodist Church, 9100 Russell Ave S., Bloomington. Interment Ft. Snelling. Visitation Sunday (TONIGHT) from 5-8 PM at the Morris Nilsen Chapel, 6527 Portland Ave S., Richfield, and one hour prior to the service at church.
