Sawdey, Diana L. Most beloved wife of Stuart; Mother of Heather and Ryan; Mother-in-law of Heidi (Ryan), "Gramma" to Wyatt and Tucker Sawdey (Ryan and Heidi). Age 60, of St. Michael, passed away 9/11/10. Preceded in death by parents, Don & Frances Schmitt of Park Rapids; sisters, Lori Schmitt & Karen Schmitt. Survived also by sister, Lorna Williams (Steve) & brothers, Mike Schmitt (Lillian) of NJ and Phil Schmitt of CA. Diana retired in 2005 after 34 years of elementary teaching in Elk River at Rogers, Handke, and Otsego. Memorial service at Word of Peace Church in Rogers, MN at 2:00 PM Sat., 9/18, reception to follow. Burial Park Rapids, MN. Memorials to donor's choice or Our Lady of Good Counsel in St. Paul.
