Bennett Derrick Chase, age 35, of Elk River, died 10/9/02. Survived by parents, Jackie & Bill Matison; brother, Mark & sister-in-law, Lori; aunts, uncles, cousins, and numerous wonderful friends. Derrick always shared his endless giving heart, his infectious smile and sense of humor with all who knew him. His most favorite times were spent fishing, spending time on Mark & Lori's hobby farm with all the animals, especially the horses, and spending time with his family and friends. He will be so lovingly missed by all who knew him. Memorial service 10:00 AM Monday at the Peterson-Stohlberg Hillside Chapel, Hwy. 88 & 19th Ave NE, Mpls., with gathering of friends one hour prior.
