Clements Claude W., 83, of Casa Grande, AZ died 8/26/02 in Casa Grande. Claude was a long time resident of Mound, MN. Memorial services were held @ 1st Presbyterian Church of Casa Grande. Interment will be at Ft. Snelling. Claude was born 3/24/1919 in Benkelman, NE. He served in WWII in N. Africa & Italy for 31 months. He also worked as an electrical engineer before retiring from Honeywell in Mpls. He volunteered with 700 Club in Minneapolis, Salvation Army and was a docent for Casa Grande Valley Historical Society. He lived in AZ for 17 years. Survivors include his wife of 17 years, Donna; daughters, Chris Crist of Hudson, Ohio & Cindy Tierschel of Eden Prairie, MN; and son, Dr. James Clements of Washington PA: 2 stepdaughters, Marjorie Scott of Young, AZ & Pat Vaughn of Oklahoma City; a stepson, Michael McIntosh of Tucson; sister, Grace Greenslit of Baltimore, brothers, Larry and Harry Clements of Kent, WA; 8 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; and 7 step-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his first wife of 25 years, Lila Fay, in 1967. Memorial contributions may be made to Alzheimer Disease & Related Disorders, Greater Phoenix Chapter, 1028 E.
