Stevens Charles W., b.4-29-13, d.10-18-02. Youngest child of Alice and Charles L. Stevens, born and grew up in Warren, Minn. Graduate in electrical engineering from the U. of Minn. and long-time Honeywell employee. Music was his life-long companion. He played several instruments and played guitar and piano professionally as a young man. For the last several years he volunteered daily at the Edina Care Center, playing the piano, and in May became a resident there. Predeceased by parents; sisters, Jean Stevens and Margaret Van Horn; and niece, Carol Boyer. Survivors are brother, Ralph of Sun City, AZ; nieces, Mary Alice Beckman, Judy Diffley, and Jane Stevens of Mpls., Mimi Diffley of Bemidji, and Nancy Stevens of San Rafael, CA; 23 great nieces and nephews; and 14 great-great nieces and nephews. The family thanks Edina Care Center staff for supporting Charles in his final months. Memorial service will be held there in November.
