Furo Charles (Charlie), age 69, of Rice Lake, WI, formerly of Mpls., died Sunday, June 16, 2002 at his home on Rice Lake surrounded by his daughters. He was born to Ingwald & Hildred (Onstead) Furo on April 18, 1933 in Mpls. After serving in the United States Army he returned to Mpls. and worked as a Pressman until 1973 when he founded Charlie's Floor Service. He is survived by 3 daughters & sons-in-law, Rochelle Furo of Rice Lake, WI, Carrie & Doug Grunewald of Boyd, WI, Kristine & Troy Faulkner of Eau Clairie, WI; 7 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchldren; a sister & brother-in-law, Edonna & Warren Baldwin of Woodbury. Funeral services 11:00 AM Thursday, June 20, 2002 at Appleyard's Home for Funerals in Rice Lake, WI. Interment in the Northern Wisconsin Veterans Cemetery in Spooner, WI. Visitaton 4-8 PM Wednesday at Appleyard's Home for Funerals.
