Jacobson Carl Alvin ''Al'', age 89, of Maplewood, formerly of Golden Valley, died August 10, 2002 at his daughter Nancy's home surrounded by his loving family. Survived by beloved wife of 53 years, Ruth; children, Dan Sr. & his wife Sharon, David & his wife Rae Jean, Brian & his wife Linda, Nancy Anderson & her husband Ron; grandfather of Dan Jr., Dale, Darnelle, Jessica, Kevin, Betsy, Kyle and Kara; 8 great-grandchildren; brother of Roy Jacobson; brother-in-law of Carl Carlson & wife Adeline, Goldie Anderson, Gladys Kraus & her husband Jake, Ed Carlson & his wife Audrey; many other loving relatives and friends. Preceded in death by his brother, Harold Jacobson. Member of Crystal Evangelical Free Church in Crystal and First Evangelical Free Church in Maplewood. Graduated from Dunwoody. Former owner of William P. Johnson Electric Supply in Mpls. His great joys were his times with his family, fishing, Air Stream trailer trips and Florida beaches. He will be greatly missed. Visitation Tuesday, August 13, 5-8 PM at ANDERSON FUNERAL HOME, 1401 Arcade St. (Hwy. 61), St. Paul. Funeral services Wednesday, August 14 at 11 AM at FIRST EVANGELICAL FREE CHURCH, 2696 Hazelwood, Maplewood. Visitation at church 1/2 hour prior to service. Interment Crystal Lake Cemetery.
