Smith C. Howard. Beloved Father & Grandfather, Bethel Music Professor Emeritus. Age 87, of Roseville, on Dec. 21, 2002. Preceeded in death by wife, Dorothea; brothers, Ashton and Norman. Survived by son, Kenard (Joanne) of St. Louis, MO; daughters, Laurel (David) Sulack and Lois (Sam) Jacobs of Shoreview, MN; 9 grandchildren, Tracy (Tony), Lisa, Justin (Sarah), Peter (Stephanie) Michael (Lisa), Lori (Kevin), Carrie (Tony), Heather (George) and Evan; 7 great-grandchildren and many relatives & friends. Visitation Friday 5-8 pm in the HOLCOMB- HENRY-BOOM NORTH CHAPEL 515 Hwy. 96 W. at Mackubin, Shoreview and at the church on Saturday from 10 am until time of service. Funeral service Saturday (Dec. 28th) 11 am at CENTRAL BAPTIST CHURCH Roy & Shields, St. Paul. Interment Monday, Dec. 30th at Lake Sarah Baptist Cemetery, Lake Sarah, MN. Memorials preferred to Bethel College Music Dept., or Central Baptist Church Foundation, where C. Howard was an organist for many years. 651-482-7606
