Betty Mae Hajder Obituary

Hajder Betty Mae Hajder, age 72 of Brooklyn Center. Went to be with the Lord on 4/7/03. Survived by husband, George, of 50 years; daughters, Deborah (Mark), Shelly (Paul); and sister, Dolores (Arthur) Kvamme. Betty touched thousands of peoples lives with her magnificent gift to arrange floral bouquets. Madsen Floral was a family owned business built in 1918, making it the first company to operate in Brooklyn Center. Betty joined the Brooklyn Center Lioness in 1975, making her a chartered member. She also became involved with the National Florist Association, and the Chamber of Commerce of Brooklyn Center. Visitation Thursday, 5-8 PM, at Washburn-McReavy Swanson Chapel, 1600 Lowry Av N, Mpls. Service Friday, 11 AM, with visit 1 hour prior at Brookdale Christian Center, 6030 Xerxes Ave N, Brooklyn Center. Interment Glen Haven Memorial Gardens. Washburn-McReavy Swanson Chapel 612-529-9691
