Betty Jean Whitmore Obituary

Whitmore Betty Jean, age 74, died peacefully on November 2, 2002. Born in Winter, WI on March 31, 1928. Preceded in death by parents Harry & Myrtle Whitmore; sister Eileen; and stepbrothers Donald, Hubert, and Stanley Smith. Survived by stepbrother, Rev. R. Dean Smith of Rockford, IL; also several nieces and nephews and their families. Betty lived and worked for many years at the Minikahda Club in Minneapolis, and was a longtime member of the St. Louis Park Evangelical Free Church. On her retirement in 1993, she and her parrot, Henry, moved to St. Louis Park. Later on, Betty resided at Presbyterian Homes on Lake Minnetonka in Spring Park. Private service. Memorials preferred to Presbyterian Homes on Lake Minnetonka or the donor's favorite charity.
