Betty J. Reyer Obituary

Reyer Betty J., age 72, of Maplewood, died February 21, 2003. Preceded in death by husband, Robert; and parents, Arthur & Gertrude Olson. Survived by children, Steven (Faye), William (David Signor), and Lizabeth (James Harnagel; grandchildren, Patrick, Jacqueline, Katherine, Joel, Craig, Alexa, and Robert; and great-grandchildren. Betty was a national and state leader in floral design. Organizational affiliations included the Federated Garden Clubs of Minnesota, Normandy Park Garden Club, the Floralia Arrangers, the Creative Flower Arrangers of the Americas, Judges Council, and the Flower Show School. She was a founding member of the Ikebana Society, and taught Japanese flower arranging and floral design. She served as the superintendant of flowers for the Minnesota State Fair, and coordinated the flower shows for the Home and Garden Show. Special thanks to Ramsey Nursing Home and HealthEast Hospice for the loving care they provided. Service of Remembrance Tuesday, Feb. 25, 6 PM at WULFF FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, 1485 White Bear Ave. Visitation 1 hour prior to the service. Memorials preferred to the Union Gospel Mission.
