Erdahl, Bertina Lorraine (Gimmestad) Age 88, of Mtka, passed away September 1, 2017. Bertina was born in Swedes Forest Township, near her childhood home of Sacred Heart. She attended Odessa High and graduated from Ortonville High. Bertina was an amazing homemaker in Mpls, then moved to Lake Rachel to pursue her love of fishing. She loved the clarinet and cheerleading in earlier days, Scrabble and fishing in later years, and throughout her life was a champion encourager; giving inspiration to others, with her love and joy. Preceded in death by husband, Manford; son, M. Neal; parents, Arthur and Ernestina; brothers, Melvin and Ernest; sister, Ruth Ann Buerkle. She is survived by son, Russell Aaron Erdahl (Mary Canon); daughter, Teri Lynn Schons (Charles); brother, George Gimmestad (Maryanne); sister, Dorothy Hovland; sisters-in-law, Gwen Erdahl and Lujean Gimmestad; nieces, nephews, step-grandchildren and friends.
