Meyers Bernita C., age 88, of Minneapolis, passed away September 20. Preceded in death by mother, Manita Meyers; father, George Meyers, Sr. and brother, George Meyers, Jr. Survived by nieces, Wendy Anderson of San Diego, Marcia Marshall of St. Cloud and great-nephew, Brad (Shannon) Marshall. Bernita pursued a career as a concert pianist, the highlight being a concert in Long Beach, CA that was broadcast on national radio. She was an animal lover, music lover and active in church for many years. Bernita enjoyed her life and loved her home of 70 years at East Lake of the Isles Parkway. She was loved by many and will be missed. Memorials preferred to the Animal Humane Society. Cremation Society of MN 612-825-2435
